Yi-Chen has done outstanding work for Fraud Strategy & Analysis in the first half of this year, building an Identity Fraud detection transaction-based model that beat Fair Isaac's best submitted model by 35% on fraud value captured. Also in that time, Yi-Chen built the Small Business Payment Fraud Model worth an estimated $3MM in GACO loss avoidance. Yi-Chen has proven her ability and determination to drive business results. She has built four statistical models in her 1-1/2 years at Capital One. She manages communications with her teammates and partners, teaching others in the use of statistical techniques and code to drive their efforts as well. Yi-Chen quickly adapts new tools to her projects and uses them to investigate the need for more complex structures.
